If your car overheats, turn off the engine and let it cool down for at least 30 minutes. Then, check the coolant level and add more if necessary.If you dont have coolant you can also use regular water to hold you over until you are able to get coolant. We highly recommend that you dont use a generic coolant it is always safer to use a coolant that is correct color match for your vehicle . If the problem persists and you find that the coolant drains rapidly bring your car in for a diagnostic check.
